When considering how to support a child with sensory differences and/or difficulties, we need to be sure that they do indeed need their differences to be supported. It is normal for children to have sensory preferences which can fit into their daily lives and  we just need to understand. However, if the differences cause difficulties with taking part in daily life or cause distress we may need to consider how we effectively support the child.
